Title:
  Grub shows up blank

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

I have just reinstalled my complete system. Windows 7 first and Ubuntu
11.04 second. When my computer is booting up a blank screen shows,
where I should see the GRUB menu, after the bios screen. It turns my
monitor to sleep, stating; "Input not supported".

I can still select Ubuntu, or Windows by using my arrow keys and
pressing enter, but I don't see what I select.

I have installed ubuntu 11.04 from a beta1 install disk, but I have
updated my system with the most recent updates.
