I should also add that using _netdev,nofail is ineffective as the boot
hangs anyway.

Title:
Can no longer mount (cifs)
Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have no idea what is going on now but following a recent dist-
upgrade (yesterday) my computer refused to boot.
I commented out all the non-essential stuff in my fstab to try and
work out why:
# sudo mount -av
mount.cifs kernel mount options: ip=192.168.0.5,unc=\\192.168.0.5\winetricks,guest,sec=none,noperm,uid=0,gid=50,ver=1,user=,pass=********
Unable to find suitable address.

Jul 20 14:11:39 aspire kernel: [ 2625.660551] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -113
I went back to the previous kernel to see if that was the cause but it
made no difference. Not even sure if this is the correct package to
report it against!
I can still use gvfs to access the mounts but that's not ideal.
