[Bug 1202646] [NEW] panel crashed with SIGSEGV in indicator_object_get_entries()

Public bug reported:
This crash occurs when starting the live session. Noticed only with
today's images but not sure if that would have happened with previous
images as well. Tried with both i386 and amd64 and occurs on both hw and
VMs (libvirt/kvm)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot the image and leave it for the Install Welcome screen to come up
2. Click 'Try Ubuntu'
and now the crash can be seen
