Public bug reported:

whenever i insert a new cdrom / dvd in my system folloing things happen

1. it calls it GTMOC instead a cdrom or the title of the cd, every cd
rom inserted is shown as GTMOC in the popup of the mouse over the cdrom
icon

2. following error is thrown up

Error mounting system-managed device /dev/sr0: Command-line `mount "/mnt/ata-hp_DVD_RW_AD-7701H_2962129L12"' exited with non-zero exit status 32: mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

3. when i give eject command following error occures even when cdrom is
empty or loaded

eject: tried to use `/mnt/cdrom' as device name but it is no block device
eject: unable to find or open device for: `cdrom'
