Title:
wrong partition for "boot=" in grub.conf

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  i don't know if this is an installer or a grub-bug, but that's what's
  happening:

breezy is installed with / on hda6 and /boot on hda1. after installing dapper (i386-beta2) with hda7 for / and also hda1 as /boot grub.conf is correctly configured for dapper but the menu-entries for breezy look like that:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.12-10-386 root=/dev/hda7 ro quiet splash

  it should be
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.12-10-386 root=/dev/hda6 ro quiet splash

i'm going to attach the old grub.conf (before installing dapper) and
  the new one.

i can reproduce that error. after installing beta1 i had the same
  issue.
