Bug description:
  When upgrading to gnome 3.8 via ppa.

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

  sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gnome-shell ubuntu-gnome-
  desktop

  this is the error i am getting.
