Hi
I'm experiencing the same problem with Grub uefi. My system is a single OS rig with Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 installed using the 3.10 kernel (issues with a 7750 graphics card!). The Grub issue was also present before I upgraded the kernel from the Ubuntu kernel ppa.
My system boots OK but wont upgrade Grub and other than some unrelated
performance issues works fine. Having done some research people appear
to be having similar issues with Grub.
When I checked in Synaptic a number of Grub related packages were
installed some of which appear to be unnecessary. Obviously I didn't
want to delete them and make my system unbootable, but was wondering
which packages are required.

Title:
error processing grub-efi-amd64 (2.00-13ubuntu3) in 13.04
Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
After a Windows install, I ran in to boot problems and tried running
boot-repair. That's when I first encountered this error. That has been
previously reported in Bug #1175018 (and one other bug, I think).
However, after running boot-repair, I was able to boot the linux install on my hard drive. (It wasn't quite the same as before; there was no splash screen.) However, I'm stilling having the error. For example:
