Public bug reported:

I used dban http://www.dban.org/ to erase my hd

i used 2 methods doesnt' matter, but i will tell you that i used :

in the first computer i used , Gutmann method (xD ) , instead in the
second computer : Prng stream 8 pass

so after that i have installed successfully kubuntu on both machine,
both installed with USB STICK WITH mini iso , without apparent errors
.

after the reboot they did not boot.

after a while , searchin on google , i have done a grub-install ,
chrooting ... and i fixed the problem, so i guess this is a bug in the
installer
