[Bug 1110875] [NEW] After installation, raring build boots to memtest

Public bug reported:

After Ubuntu Developer Week session, I came to my desktop computer,
downloaded the ubuntu raring daily build of 01302012
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/20130130/, and installed it on my
computer.

The installation went smoothly, all the way to asking for a reboot.  I
rebooted my computer, without the disc inside, only to be greeted with
blue screen memtest that failed at Test 7 at Pass 47%.   It never got
out of the test, until another reboot, and the loop repeats.
