I installed the latest daily build of Raring onto a fresh partition.  I
just finished doing the installation and haven't yet installed any
software or done any customizations (I did run updates). 

Right now I have it with two network connections, ethernet and wi-fi. 
As before, the IPv6 displayed using the wi-fi connection looks good, but
the one displayed with the ethernet connection contains the mac address.

I cannot reproduce this.
Can you reproduce this on a freshly installed raring?

Bug description:
  On my computer containing installation of 12.04, 12.10, and Raring,
  this does not happen in 12.04 or 12.10; it's only within Raring.  I
  have been unable to change this.
