Title:
Ubiquity-kde starts partitioning and formatting without verifying
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
ISO testing Kubuntu 64bit Maverick Beta.
I got to the point where I could set up partitioning. I accidentally
clicked the wrong place, so instead of getting a side-by-side install,
the default (Guided - use entire disk) remained selected and I did not
notice this until just after I clicked next.
Now, the enhancements that start doing things before the installer
gathers all the info is pretty nice... speeds up the process greatly.
BUT, the problem with starting at this point is that I now destroyed
my hard disk because Ubiquity did not verify that I actually wanted to
nuke my entire hard disk. Instead it just silently started
reformatting.
