  Ubiquity fails to proceed beyond the second screen

Bug description:
  I'm testing the Lubuntu Raring 20130127-i386 iso and the installation
  fails to proceed beyond the Preparing to install Lubuntu screen.
  Screenshot attached. BTW I had not even quit the installation before
  filing this bug report.
