I have asked ASUS for help. Typed in a page of stuff, noting UEFI
requires specific directory, while BIOS does not allow me to specify.
Hope they have a quick and accurate response.

  attempt to install 12.04 to new pc build. ssd is to be root drive.
  failed. don't know exactly why, but notice said it could not put the
  boot information.
