Public bug reported:

After hibernating the PC, wlan isn't available, USB wifi stick must be
physically disconnected from the pc and reconnected.

Expected behaviour: wifi is reconnected automatically after hibernation

Observed behaviour: no wlan appears to be present in the system, USB
wifi stick must be physically disconnected from the pc and reconnected.
