Confirmed that "dpkg-architecture -ax32" gives output comparable to
raring with the precise-proposed build of dpkg, and the output hasn't
changed for other supported arches.

Title:
Backport x32 support to stable releases for infratructure/buildd use

Status in “dpkg” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in “dpkg” source package in Precise:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  [Impact]
This allows various bits of archive and package building infrastructure on precise to recognise x32 as a valid arch, needed for Soyuz, but also some third-party archive infrastructure setups.

  [Test Case]
Test that "dpkg-architecture -ax32" outputs the same on precise-proposed as it does on raring.

  [Regression Potential]
Minimal regression potential. Should double-check that "dpkg-architecture -ax32" and "dpkg-architecture -aamd64" output as desired, with 32/64 bits as appropriate.

  [Original Report]
See bug #1096986 for reference, but for x32, we also need a backport of the abitable feature in dpkg-architecture to support x32 on precise. This is already included in quantal and beyond, and if needed in lucid, will be done in lucid-cat, rather than in the archive.
