[Bug 1096866] [NEW] Installer crash VirtualBox + USB drive

Public bug reported:

Did the instalation with default settings (but custom drive partitioning -single ext4 / partition), running VirtualBox (Win 7 guest) on a external USB drive (WD Passport), and allowing 3rd party software and updates.
It seems it's done installing, and installing updates.
