Title:
Hibernate when Suspend-to-RAM exceeds a predefined nr of minutes

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
One thing I recall from the only time my laptop was running MS Windows
is that after I suspended the system to RAM, a while after it
suspended the laptop resumed automaticaly only to enter hibernation
  (supend to disk).

Currently, this doesn't work in Ubuntu. I can leave the computer on
suspend-to-RAM for an entire night and it doesn't hibernate. It would
be nice to have this behaviour implemented even if S2R doesn't consume
  a lot of power.
