[Bug 540521] Re: livecd.sh should not be fetching files from people.ubuntu.com

the code of livecd.sh has not been used since mid 2010, it is only still
there for historical reference and wont build any useful images of
current ubuntu releases ... the building of images completely switched
to live-build for which the livecd-rootfs package contains the
configuration and build adjustments in the live-build subdirectory.

since this bug is for dead code i'm closing it as wontfix.

Title:
livecd.sh should not be fetching files from people.ubuntu.com

Status in “livecd-rootfs” package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: livecd-rootfs

Right now, and for quite some time, there are a couple of places where
livecd.sh wgets files from people.ubuntu.com as part of the build.

These wget calls fail, and shouldn't be there in the first place.
