Status in “sessioninstaller” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  We'll be transitioning away from 0.10 for main/default desktop in R.

  sessioninstaller uses the old python-gst bindings; it should be
  updated for the new introspectable ones and ported to the 1.0 API
  where appropriate.

  Seems like there are some constants too in core.py. Should they just
  be updated?
