@Jeremy: Hi, and thanks for the report. Please provide more information
by taking the following steps.

* Reboot
* Log in and open a terminal
* In the terminal, run the following commands with the name of your server replacing 'XYZ'.

    ping XYZ
    host XYZ
    dig XYZ
    ls -l /etc/resolv.conf
    cat /etc/resolv.conf
    ls -l /run/resolvconf/interface
    for F in /run/resolvconf/interface/* ; do echo === $F === ; cat $F ; done
    apport-collect 1114948

* Post the resulting output here.

Bug description:
  When using wi-fi, i'm unable to access my server by its hostname. It
  works fine on an ethernet cable. On wi-fi, I'm only able to access my
  server by IP address. The server can ping any computer on the network.
  The server is hardwired, and the laptop is on wi-fi.
