  Can't upgrade Kubuntu to version LTS

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  I can't upgrade Kubuntu from 9.10 to 10.04. The error occurs during
  the checking package manager with the message: "After your package
  information was updated the essential package 'ubuntu-minimal' can not
  be found anymore." How can i solve this problem? I attach here the
  files concerning the bug report.
