  Avahi daemon advertisements services that are actually running or
  installed

Status in “avahi” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Avahi daemon fails advertising the  services that are not actually
  installed or running on machine.

  I am able adverse FTP server on network through   actually  FTP daemon
  is not up or installed on that machine

  Avahi daemon not actually checking the status of services that are it
  avertising
