Title:
  memory leak in whoopsie

Status in “whoopsie” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I was away from my desktop system running quantal for 2 weeks. Meaning
  that the display was idle, but I did it via ssh for development. Upon
  returning, I found whoopsie with 280m resident. looking at
  /var/log/apt/history*.log, it appears the running process is also from
  the version reported below in 'apt-cache policy'

  $ sudo ls -l /proc/$(pidof whoopsie)/exe
  lrwxrwxrwx 1 whoopsie whoopsie 0 Jun 27 08:01 /proc/1952/exe -> /usr/bin/whoopsie

  I do realize there is not much info here to go on. Is there more info that I could collect in the future?
