Ubuntu using an older version of the installation media.  The latest
point release of 12.04 is 12.04.3. Please try installing from that

Bug description:
  ubi-partman crashed with exit code 141 when stepLanguage skipped with
  automatic-ubiquity on Ubuntu installed disk.

  minimal steps to reproduce:
   1. prepare 8GiB drive which has a empty ext4 partition
   2. boot from ISO of Ubuntu 12.04 12.04.1 or 12.04.2 LTS
      with boot parameters "locale=en_US automatic-ubiquity"

  Expected result:
   show a step
     "This computer currently has Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS on it. What would you like to do?"

  Actual result:
   ubi-partman crashes with exit code 141.

  Difference between releases:
   * raring 20130315: OK
   * 12.10: OK
   * 12.04.2 LTS: CRASH
   * 12.04.1 LTS: CRASH
   * 12.04 LTS: CRASH
   * 11.10: OK

  Difference between drive conditions:
   * 8GiB with a empty ext4 partition: CRASH
   * 8GiB with no partition: OK
   * 16GiB with a empty ext4 partition: OK

  Difference between operations:
   * automatic-ubiquity: CRASH
   * skip stepLanguage and other steps before ubi-partman quickly: CRASH
   * waiting some time on stepLanguage, then skip it: OK
