Using daily build of 2013/12/18, I could not recreate too. It seems it
is fixed...

Title:
  Distribution option in "Other Software" tab is not editable

Status in “software-properties” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Try to modify Distribution option in "Other Software" tab in software-
  properties is no possible. Steps:

  1. add a PPA
  2. open software-properties-gtk (in terminal) and go to "Other Software" tab
  3. click in Edit button, and try to modify Distribution option from trusty to saucy, for example, and OK
  4. the Distribution option continues in "trusty"
  5. click in Edit button again, try to modify again and press OK, the "Edit Source" window will not close (now OK and Cancel button will not work), and you will get this error in terminal:
