Title:
Add option to script to not record raw control characters

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: util-linux

The 'script' utility notes that raw control characters are logged in
the output file, which is "not what the naive user expects." Please
add an option which provides the mode of operation the naive user
  expects.
