Title:
Receiveing a Segfault from mounting a drive or running sudo blkid

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: util-linux

I have 2 HDDs, sda and sdb. Windows is installed on sda and is marked
bootable, ubuntu on sdb. Whenever I boot up my computer I receive this
  message: Udevd-work[84]: '/sbin/blkid -o udev -p /dev/sda1' unexpected
  exit with status 0x000b

When I run either "sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/" or "sudo blkid" I receive a segmentation fault. I was instructed to run "sudo mount -t ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/" which produced the following output:
The disk contains an unclean file system (0, 0).
The file system wasn't safely closed on Windows. Fixing.
followed by the filesystem successfully mounting.
