Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 dev with binutils 2.23.91.20131123-1ubuntu1. The
command strings has the option -t to show the position of the located
strings. Maybe there could also be an option to seek to an offset and
optionally to stop at another offset. For example this could be useful
on searching a disk and telling it should begin the search at 20 GiB and
end at 30 GiB.
** Affects: binutils (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
