Bug description:
  When the env var GREP_OPTIONS is set to "--color=always," apt-get
  purge and remove insert erroneous characters when using autocomplete
  (tab). e.g. when typing "sudo apt-get purge compizconf" then typing
  tab, this expansion occurs:

  sudo apt-get purge compizconf^[[m^[[K^[[m^[[Kig-settings-manager
