Thank you for opening this bug and helping make Ubuntu better.

This is not a 'du' bug: completion of command options is dealt with by
'bash-completion'. I reassigned the bug to it.

You can verify this is indeed what is going on by running 'set -x' just
before trying 'du --summ<TAB>'.
