I also can't duplicate this today so I'm going to close the bug. I do
note that it takes ubiquity a full 30 seconds to open after the password
prompt on real hardware.
If someone else still has this problem with the latest nightly Ubuntu
GNOME image, either open a new bug or reopen this one.
amjjawad, you may need to file a new bug for your issue. If you're using
the "Install Alongside" option then it's probably a known bug we've been
mentioning in the Release Notes for 13.04 and the 13.10 Alphas.

Ubiquity no longer runs from the Ubuntu GNOME live session. After
clicking Install on the dash, it just seems to hang, it does not crash
and no GUI loads.
Running manually with --with-no-sso does allow it too work
