Hi there,

I have attached my output from terminal ... from Kubuntu 13.04 amd64
fully up to date.

Everything was working fine  ... and suddenly, about a couple of weeks
ago, this bug came up.

>From my experience, sometimes update-manager shows some updates ... I am
not sure but it seems 'system updates' are more problematic (to show)
than updates from PPAs.

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Software Updater displays the message: "Updated software is available for this computer.  Do you want to install it now?"
  However, the Details of updates list is blank.
  Software Updater displays the size of the download.
  The Technical decription, Changes text area is blank.
  The Technical decription, Description area is also blank.

  When update-manager is run from the commandline, the only output is...
