Yes, same as #17. Here's the apt-get upgrade o/p from a terminal.

I have previously pinned flashplugin-installer and this problem is not
coincident with that change. Still, if others affected also have held
back packages that might be useful information.

% sudo apt-get upgrade

Bug description:
  Software Updater displays the message: "Updated software is available for this computer.  Do you want to install it now?"
  However, the Details of updates list is blank.
  Software Updater displays the size of the download.
  The Technical decription, Changes text area is blank.
  The Technical decription, Description area is also blank.

  When update-manager is run from the commandline, the only output is...
