[Bug 1161776] Re: Failed to download repository information

I have seen this message for a few days.
I see two problems here:

1. The user clicks "try again" because they think it might fix the
problem and actually find updates. Because of the message "Check your
Internet connection", the user thinks it is a problem on their end. They
probably think that clicking "ok" will just close the software updater
and do nothing.

2. There should be an option like "see details" in order to be able to
localise the problematic repository or ppa. Without that option, the
"Settings..." button is useless, as it does not direct to a solution to
fix the problem.

Title:
  Failed to download repository information

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Software Updater
After you get the above lovely message, the wrong move is to press "Try Again".
Should you try "OK", then one of two things happens:
Either you see the updates list, or you get a "The software on this computer is up to date".
It is obvious that despite the message, repository information has been downloaded.
As long as you stay away from "try again"!
