  Max recursion depth error when using HTTPDigestAuth

Status in “requests” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Run a server with HTTP Digest Authentication and then run the attached
  script.

  Expected result:
  "401"

  Actual result:
  RuntimeError: maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object

  This bug exists in python-requests 1.1.0-1.
  It is not reproducable with upstream 1.2.3 (pip install requests)
