[Bug 1214250] [NEW] pgrep ignores last character of some processes

Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev with procps 1:3.3.3-2ubuntu5 and on some
processes pgrep is ignoring the last character. For exmple if I want to
get the pid of /usr/lib/firefox/plugin-container with "pgrep plugin-
container" nothing is returned. But deleting the last character as
"pgrep plugin-containe" works fine. Not all processes are affected by
this behavior (maybe it has something to do with the length of the
process name).

** Affects: procps (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
