  ibex rc alt amd64 cd won't install on software raid

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  i needed to use the alt CD because i was installing to software raid.
  after setting up my raid partitions and continuing, it asked me to
  insert the ibex install cd.  (which of course was already in the
  drive)  pressing enter to continue keep recycling the same prompt.
  replacing the cd w/ the regular amd64 install cd didn't work either.

  wound up reinstalling 8.04 and then upgrading.
