Title:
conversion from svg to png causes mogrify to consume all memory
  available in the system

Status in “imagemagick” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
conversion from svg to png causes mogrify to consume all memory
  available in the system

  in kubuntu version 12.1

i dot imagemagick via apt-get install inkscape which also i think
  installs imagemagick with it

using command mogrify -format png *.svg

what happens is mogrify consumes all memory in the system including
the swap space and goes into a freeze and stays like that until i kill
  the process manually

the specific svg file that causes this is attached to this bug

it can also be downloaded via this link http://www.clipshrine.com
  /Metal-pot-cover-14107-medium.html through the svg link

however inkscape can open the file and display it
