Title:
[kde] dialog title text doesn't fully show in installer

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When installing Kubuntu 9.04 release, most of the progress dialog
boxes in the installer are not wide enough to show the dialog title
text. The dialog title text is therefore truncated, and practically
  useless.

It seems that the dialog box only considers the required width of what
it contains, and does not consider the title text. Because most of the
progress boxes simply contain a progress bar, only 5 or so characters
of the dialog title text is shown.

To reproduce - go into the partitioner (don't use the 'entire disk'
option), and check out the 'scanning' progress dialog box.

I'm on a machine with a max resolution of 1280 x 800 if it matters.

(Sidenote - it'd be nice if the dialog boxes opened in the center by
default, rather than slightly off-center sometimes. And the main
installer screen's buttons should be disabled when the system is
installing - the modality of the 'installing' dialog is not obvious
  enough.)
