Title:
Ubuntu doesn't work with Acer Cloud Mobile
Status in “udev” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
According to the bug #903422, I open a new bug about mtpfs and the
phone Acer Cloud + Android 4.0.4 (and next versions I think...).
I followed the steps in this page : http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/12
/how-to-connect-your-android-ice-cream-sandwich-phone-to-ubuntu-for-
file-access/
I created the file /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules and added the line :
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0502", ATTR{idProduct}=="33a9", MODE="0666"
1) Ubuntu release : 12.04.2 LTS
2) mtpfs version : 0.9-3build1
3) I expected mtp device mounted and functionnal
4) what happened ? the message "Désolé, impossible d'afficher tout le contenu de « AcerCloud » : Noeud final de transport n'est pas connecté"
See the full output of mtp-detect in the joined file.
If I connect my phone to a PC running Windows, an explorer windows
appears with 2 folders : one for internal memory and one for external
(SD card) memory. I've NOT installed specifics drivers. Does Ubuntu
can do the same ?
Thanks for your help.
