A sync of apper and listaller would be sufficient? I don't see any Ubuntu specific changes.

What kind of internal API do you mean? I use the GPK tools daily on my
Debian box with aptdaemon.

I uploaded an updated packagekit and aptdaemon package to
ppa:packagekit/0.8

I will wait until you have updated your click package plugin before
uploading to Ubuntu.
