Adam Baxter, would you need a backport of the fix to this bug report to
a release prior to Saucy, or may we close this as Status Invalid?

Bug description:
  The Ubuntu 13.04 daily installer crashes part way through the install when running in a Hyper-V VM on Windows 8 Pro.
  I have attached the console output produced - the hv_storvsc driver spams the console.

  WORKAROUND: Quantal installs, and I can upgrade to Raring via apt.
