Your partition table is corrupt. Partitions are not allowed to overlap.

Title:
  can't have overlapping partitions

Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I have a problem similar to that

  http://gparted-forum.surf4.info/viewtopic.php?id=16373

  I have gparted 0.16.1 installed

I have 80 GB HDD. I had 3 partitions on it:
  38 GB for linux OS
  2 GB for swap
  40 GB for home

For performing some tasks I had to install windows. I redused 38 GB
partition to 31 GB and created one more partition 5 GB for windows
  (see picture attached).

Now I would like to give more space for windows by redusing 31 GB
partition and enlarging 5 GB one.

Gparted does not show my partitions and labelled all the disk as
unallocated space, however all the operating systems working fine and
I can boot into them and mount all the partitions.
