  I was trying to install dirver (version WNA3100_V2.1.0.4) for the NetGear WNA3100 usb WiFi adapter using wine and ndiswrapper.
  The Ubuntu version is 12.04 LTS fresh install on Dell XPS 8700 new desktop + all updates.
