The database that provides this information appears outdated on your
system.  There is no gnibbles binary provided by any package in 13.04.
 Do you have multiple distributions enabled in your sources?

… and you will find that this package is transitional.  The new
package, gnome-nibbles, does no longer include /usr/games/gnibbles,
only the new name gnome-nibbles.  Perhaps the transitional package
will include a symlink for the binary also.

Bug description:
  I do have gnibbles installed, I can even start it with the Launcher and with the gnome-nibbles command in the terminal, but issuing "gnibbles" says it's not installed even thou apt-cache policy is telling me it is installed. Is this a gnibbles bug or an apt-get one?
  Are other packages affected too?
