According to Dell Latitude D830 manual, <Fn> and left-arrow key should
activate the ambient light sensor, which controls brightness of the
display based on light level in the current environment. I've checked it
in WinPE and in GRUB - it works well. But in user account in my Kubuntu
13.04 <Fn> and left-arrow key returns:
(XEV output)
KeyPress event, serial 40, synthetic NO, window 0x4000001,
root 0x103, subw 0x0, time 4948865, (162,-13), root:(164,45),
state 0x0, keycode 201 (keysym 0x1008ffb1, XF86TouchpadOff), same_screen YES, XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
So, as we see, this is mistake and it should not return any code because
it processes through BIOS and must switch on/of ambient light sensor to
operate correctly according to laptop manual.
