Title:
EclipseIDE icon too big in Dash, not launching on being clicked

Status in dash - The Debian Almquist Shell:
  New
Status in Xfce panel:
  Unknown
Status in “dash” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The icon for EclipseIDE in the Dash home is too big than what it is
expected to be(See attachement). On providing a smaller icon image, it
gets fixed. Seems like, 12.10 doesnt resize the icon images provided
by users for custom items. This wasnt an issue with 12.04.

  1) The release of Ubuntu I am using: 12.10
  2) The version of the package I am using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname':
  xorg:
    Installed: 1:7.7+1ubuntu4
    Candidate: 1:7.7+1ubuntu4
    Version table:
   *** 1:7.7+1ubuntu4 0
          500 http://in.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal/main i386 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

  3) What I expected to happen: The Eclipse icon to be of normal size,
and IDE to be launched on clicking.
