Public bug reported:
Hi,
I have a problem with isc-dhcp-client in Ubuntu 12.04.2 64 bits.
Everything seems to be correct, the host manages to get its IP address,
its DNS, etc...but not its hostname with DHCP...
Our DHCP server is dhcp3-server 3.1.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits
If you replace isc-dhcp-client with another DHCP client like dhcpcd,
everything works fine.
Bye and thanks,
Sam
