hmmm...  it's even more subtle than that...   all you have to do is to
click anywhere in the partition list box and the slider gets redrawen
correctly.

  13.04 Beta1  UbuntuStudio 64 bit

  once you get partman working....

  Choose "Something Else"
  [continue]

  On the "Installation type" screen

  Look at the disk partition summary slider bar (not sure what you call it)
  scroll as needed...

  bug: the last partition is missing from the summary bar
  see attached screenshot

  Expected: all partitions to be displayed in the summary bar
  this is probably an off-by-one error
