The rpm package to try:
http://www.lsi.com/products/storagecomponents/Pages/MegaRAIDSAS9280-24i4e.aspx
Download MegaCli from section "Management Software and Tools".

Run the command:
sudo alien -dc MegaCli-8.07.07-1.noarch.rpm

which gives the error:
Unpacking of 'MegaCli-8.07.07-1.noarch.rpm' failed at /usr/share/perl5/Alien/Package/Rpm.pm line 168.
